Meet The GiveMore Founders

Dr. Stephen Givens & Michael Moore – Founders, GiveMore Connections

Stephen Givens and Michael Moore are community leaders and mental health professionals dedicated to strengthening individuals, families, and communities throughout the Mid-Ohio Valley. Together, they co-founded GiveMore Connections in 2016 with a shared vision of helping people build meaningful connections to the mental health resources and support systems they need.

Both Dr. Givens and Moore also serve as the CEO and Co-Owners of Counseling and Wellness Center, where they work to expand access to high-quality counseling services for individuals, couples, families, and youth. As Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs), they bring extensive clinical experience and a compassionate approach to helping people navigate life’s challenges, develop healthier coping strategies, and strengthen their relationships.

Recognizing that many individuals in the Mid-Ohio Valley struggled to find and access the right resources, they created GiveMore Connections to bridge that gap. Their work focuses on developing programs and partnerships that support veterans, working families, and children, while also encouraging collaboration among community organizations, schools, and service providers.

Beyond their clinical work, Dr. Givens and Moore are passionate about mental health awareness, community outreach, and innovative programming that makes emotional wellness more accessible. Through educational initiatives, youth-focused programs, and community partnerships, they continue to promote conversations around mental health while helping people feel supported and connected.

Together, their leadership reflects a shared belief that when people have the right support, resources, and relationships, both individuals and communities can truly thrive. Through their work with GiveMore Connections and the Counseling and Wellness Center, they remain committed to building stronger connections and a healthier future for the Mid-Ohio Valley.
